BABSON PARK Fla. – The Webber baseball team drops another home game to the Senators of Auburn University-Montgomery 4-1. The game was dominated by pitching early and some shaky defense by the Warriors late lead to the final score.

Freshman Rob Lane (0-1) started on the mound for the Warriors and threw six strong innings. Lane gave up ten hits but only allowed two runs. Danny Bishop followed in relief for the remainder three innings and gave up two runs ( one earned). 

AUM starter K. Mitchell tossed seven inning of shutout ball only allowing three hits and struck out seven.

Carlo Galluccio lead the way at the plate for the Warriors picking up two hits. 

Webber (1-2) will take on the same Senators (3-2) Friday night at Heart of Florida field with the first pitch scheduled for 7 pm.
