Box Score Babson Park, Fla. – Webbers' (8-10; 4-6) women soccer win the last game of the year in a conference match versus a Polk County rival, Southeastern University (6-9; 5-5), on October 27, 2011 to send out their seniors with a 4-1 victory.

Amanda Solis shot from the middle top of the goalkeepers box from a well-placed ball from Magen Carey pass the goalkeeper into the net in the 13th minute. Four minutes later, Amanda Solis returned the favor to Magen Carey, after free kick, she shot from inside the box on the left side. Lady Fire tried to fight back when Ally Larese passed the ball to Sophia Eplin, and she redirected the ball for a perfect shot by Suzy Bondy into the net. The first half was not over there, the final goal of the first half came after Jessica Morejon shot the ball, but the Karleigh Smoak (SEU) deflected the ball back to Jessica Morejon, then she wisely passed the ball to Brittany Cox for a third goal in the 43 minute to have a 3-1 advantage going in the half.

Magen Carey scored her second goal in the game, it was and unassisted goal in the 71st minute as she dribbled the ball from half the field on the left side, and she placed the ball in the net passed the keeper to extend the lead by three for Webber International University.

Sam Keller (WIU) had 6 saves in the 90 minutes she played, only allowing one goal; whereas, Karleigh Smoak (SEU) had 4 saves in the 90 minutes she played, and allowing 4 goals. Lady Warriors outshot Lady Fire 20 to 13 total shots, and Webber had 8 shots on goal, as Southeastern had 7 shots on goal.

Webbers' women soccer finished seventh in The Sun Conference with a 4-6 record, and they finish the 2011 season with an 8-10 overall record.
