Babson Park, Fla. – The Webber International University golf team placed 7 players on The Sun Conference 2010 Men's and Women's Golf Academic All-Conference Team.

 

For the Warriors, the following student athletes were honored: Alexander Carpenhall, freshman from Sweden; German Jackson, sophomore from Columbia; Franciso Rivero, freshman Puerto Rico; and Rodrigo Hernandez, sophomore from Spain.

 

For the Lady Warriors the following students were honored: Amber Clark, junior from Inglis, Florida; Cassie Dull, senior from Winter Haven, Florida, and Mikaela Lyander, freshman from Sweden.

 

“I'm very proud of all these student-athletes and pleased that they have been honored for their efforts on the academic side,” stated Athletic Director, Bill Heath. “I am very proud of our golfer's for their achievements in the classroom and the course.”
