Bruins Dominate Warriors

BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Bruins of Bellevue University showed up in Babson Park and seemed to feel right at home. They took control of the game and never looked back as they defeated the Warriors 9-1.
 The first three innings were a pitcher's duel and it seemed it mat stay that way for a while until the Bruins got to starting pitcher Josh Davis and scored two in the fourth and fifth innings. At that point Bellevue took control of the game and the Warriors never got back into the game.
Davis who picked up the loss and evened his season record at 2-2, threw to a batter in the seventh into to finish with six plus innings allowing six runs on five hits, walking five, and striking out four Bruins. Chris Kirk then toed the rubber and tossed three innings giving up three runs on five hits.
Picking up hits for Webber was Billy Ferrell, Tito Carrillo, Lance Lozan, Ryan Jamison, Shawn Mayhew, and Ryan Regidor. The Warriors only run was scored by Brett Book who reached on a hit by pitch.
The Warriors record in now 13-9 and will face-off against those same Bruins tonight at 7 pm.
