Clearwater, Fla. – Our Lady Warriors finish the season finale with lost to Clearwater Christian College 1-3 (25-23, 19-25, 18-25, 16-25) on Tuesday November 2, 2010.
Lady Warrior's finish their season with overall record 11-15 and The Sun Conference record is 3-10.
Webber had 43 kills, 44 assists, 5 service aces, 80 digs, and 9.5 team blocks. The leader in kills was
Julianne Dougherty, in assists was
Sophie Zillmann, and
Shauna Brown lead the team in blocks. Senior Taylor Smith lead the team in digs in her final battle as a Lady Warrior.
Brown had 3 kills, 3 digs and 3 solo blocks and one assisted block, Dougherty had 11 kills, 18 digs, an assist, 2 serve aces, and 2 solo blocks and one assisted, and Zillmann helped offensively with 25 assists and 2 digs.
Senior Taylor Smith finished her college career at Webber International University verses Clearwater Christian College. At the game she had 4 kills, an assist, and 23 digs. For her senior year she had 85 total kills, 12 assists, 27 serve aces, 4 blocks and 6 assisted blocks, and 219 digs.
Senior number 13 Taylor Smith who returned to the Warriors for her senior year to be an outside hitter, graduated from Wilson High School. Smith came to the Warriors after transferring from Tacoma Community College. She was born in Olympia, Washington, a daughter of Daryn and Laura Smith, has three siblings; Aryka, Hattey, and Brody. She will graduate from Webber in May 2010 with Bachelors of Science in concentration in Business Management.
