Lake Wales - The winningest professional bowler of all-time trained with members of the Webber International University bowling team in final preparations for participating in the AMF World Cup in Melaka, Malaysia.

Walter Ray Williams Jr. has earned 46 titles on the Professional Bowlers Tour with 77 perfect games in PBA competition.  He has earned nearly 4 million dollars in winnings.  This was a special opportunity for the WIU team.

In preparation for the 2009 AMF World Cup in Melaka, Malaysia, Williams Jr. asked the Webber International University bowlers to bowl with him on a pattern similar to that which he will see in the competition.  The goal was to see a variety of lane transition with different styles of highly skilled bowlers.  This practice session will help him be at his best in the prestigious event.  Specifically, as the pattern changes, a bowler must adjust quickly to maintain scoring.  Today's practice session will help Williams Jr. be at his best in Malaysia.

Walter Ray averaged 240 in his 9 games of the competition simulation which included a perfect 300 game.  Immediately following the 2 hour training session, Williams Jr. flew to Malaysia for the tournament which officially begins November 13th and runs through the 20th.
