Caylin Hauptmann

Caylin Hauptmann first joined the Webber International University football team as its new Offensive Line Coach heading into 2019 season.
 
Hauptmann came to the Warriors after a professional football career in the National Football League where he played offensive line with the Cleveland Browns, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and went on to win back-to-back Super Bowls.
 
After signing with the Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2013, Hauptmann signed with the Seahawks in September 2013. Hauptmann won Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seahawks after they defeated the Denver Broncos by a score of 43–8.
 
In 2015, Hauptmann signed with the Patriots and won his second straight Super Bowl when the Patriots defeated his old team, the Seattle Seahawks, 28–24 in Super Bowl XLIX.
 
In high school, Hauptmann was a four-year varsity starter on the offensive line at Beverly Hills High School, playing center, guard and tackle throughout his career. Hauptmann was also on the Beverly Hills track & field team as a member of the shot put team. Hauptmann broke a 30-year record in the shot put (60-10.5) at Beverly Hills.
 
Hauptmann went on to college to play one year of junior college football at the College of the Canyons where he was a started at guard and tackle.
 
Hauptmann then finished his collegiate career at Florida International University as a three-year starter at left tackle, where he was also a Team Captain. After becoming an immediate starter on the offensive line at FIU, Hauptmann started every game during the 2012 football season, and finished his college career starting every game for a total of 37 games over his three seasons. Hauptmann made his debut on the All-Sun Belt team as a second-team pick in 2011. Hauptmann was nominated in 2012 to the list of nominees for the Outland Award, the highest award for U.S. college offensive lineman. He was also a major contributor on offense to the FIU team that won the 2010 Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl.
 
Hauptmann was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and is a Martial Arts Black Belt and Instructor. He graduated from FIU with his Bachelor of Arts degree from the Chaplin School of Hospitality Management & Tourism. Also during his time at FIU, Hauptmann met his wife Jessica Gehrke-Hauptmann, who is also the Head Beach Volleyball Coach at Webber International University.
