Bryan Bessinger is a PGA Class A professional. He came to Webber in 2017 as a Graduate Assistant Coach. He also works closely with recruiting and player development.

  • Gained membership to the PGA of America with Class A status.
- National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) – 2017
  • Became a certified personal trainer, focusing on body stabilization, strength, and powerCertified NASM.
  • Golf specialized personal trainer.
- Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) – 2011
  • Achieved Level 1 Certification to assess physical fitness relating to the golf swing.
- Boditrak Sports Certified – 2017
  • Utilize the Boditrak pressure mapping system to analyze ground reaction forces and their effect on movement related activities.
- Wright Sports Balance Certified – 2017
  • Use specific body measurements to optimize balance and force production.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
- Studying Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics to better understand how the body works and functions in everyday life as well as in sports.

EXPERIENCE
- The Future Collegians World Golf Tour - Clearwater, Florida - September 2005 - Present
  • As a Tournament Assistant, I help in all aspects of golf tournament operations.
  • Help organize the tournament; prepare the golf course for play; register participants; act as starter, rules official and scorer; and organize materials for the next tournament site.
- Junior Players Golf Academy - Hilton Head Island, South Carolina - January 2007 - July 2009
  • As Director of Instruction, Bessinger coaches junior golfers age 13-19 on golf swing mechanics, course management and mental toughness.
  • Served as golf fitness instructor guiding students through specific workouts to develop the physical attributes necessary for success in competitive golf.
