Baylee Young

Young was named as the Interim Head Women’s Beach Volleyball Coach of Webber International University in October of 2022.
 
Prior to Webber, Young played women’s beach volleyball at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2019-2021. In her time at UTC, she was the first team in their program’s history to start at the number one’s pair for three consecutive years. Young earned All-OVC First Team honors during her junior and senior seasons, a four-time OVC Pair of the Week winner, ranked in the top-10 of all NCAA D-I beach volleyball pairs during her junior year, and was named the number one player in the OVC her senior season.
 
Young was recruited out of high school by Pensacola State College in 2017 to be the starting libero where she eventually transitioned to starting outside hitter. She was awarded First Team All-Conference during her freshman year as well as her sophomore season, where she also led the conference in digs and kills per set. She earned Defensive Player of the Year her sophomore season as well.
 
Young has coached at various clubs throughout her career, both boys and girls, and is now working towards her Masters of Business Administration degree. She currently resides in Lake Wales, Florida with her cat Dino.
