Daja Belt begins her second season as the Student Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach under Coach Grady Morrell.
Belt joins the Warriors from Towson University, where she assisted with team travel arrangements and availability of required sports gear and equipment as the Assistant Director of Women’s Basketball Operations. She performed administrative requirements under the Head Coach and Head Director of Operations, including the coordination of game day events such as the annual STEM game which lead the most successful turn out in attendance in 2017.
Before becoming the Assistant Director of Operations for Towson University women’s basketball, she was a former player of Allegany College of Maryland. She holds the highest average of her school of 17 points per game and earned the Academic JUCO All-American award in 2015.
Belt recently received her bachelor’s degree at Towson University in sport management with a minor in business administration, being named on the Dean’s List in May of 2017.
