As an Auburndale, FL native Brent Orr began his coaching career in 1991 as an assistant baseball coach and junior varsity softball coach at Auburndale High School. In 2000 Brent became the assistant softball coach at Lake Region High School. There he helped lead them to the state championship semi finals 2001. Two years later in 2003 he accepted an assistant coaching position at Bartow High School. At Bartow he helped to win 5 state championship titles in a row 2003-2008. The 2004 team achieved record of 32-0 and was named national champions. Brent then went to coach the Tropic Wave Gold Travel Team as well as spending two years as an assistant with Polk State College.

In 2013, Orr joined Webber International University as the head coach of the Lady Warriors softball program. Entering his 5th season, he has an overall record of 89-87. In 2016, the Lady Warriors laid claim to the Sun Conference Tournament Championship defeating the University of South Carolina Beaufort. They moved onto the National Championship Opening Round, Reinhardt Bracket. Going an undefeated 3-0 through the Reinhardt Bracket, they moved onto the National Championship. In the National Championship they went 1-2 finishing their run, ranked 8th in the country.

Coach Orr and the Lady Warriors start the 2017 season ranked 11th in the nation on the NAIA Coaches top 25 poll.  

Brent Orr is a dedicated family man and has the support of his wife Shellenna, son Kyle and daughter Kennah.
