Ryan Kardok serves as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Webber International University, bringing a diverse coaching background that includes experience at the NCAA Division I and Division II levels.
Prior to taking over the Warrior men's basketball program, Kardok served as an Assistant Coach at Florida Southern College. During his tenure, the Moccasins recorded three consecutive 20-win seasons, earned three straight NCAA Tournament appearances, and finished among the top three in the Sunshine State Conference each season. Florida Southern advanced to the NCAA Division II Sweet Sixteen and the Round of 32 while ranking among the top 10 nationally in offense for three consecutive seasons.
Kardok also played a key role in the development of Florida Southern's student-athletes. During his tenure, the Moccasins earned five First Team All-Sunshine State Conference selections, four All-Defensive Team honors, two All-American selections, an SSC Player of the Year award, and two SSC Defensive Player of the Year honors. Among those players were All-Americans Luke Anderson and Jadin Booth.
Prior to Florida Southern, Kardok served as Director of Player Development at the University of South Florida during the 2022-23 season, helping the Bulls post the nation's largest improvement in points per game and the second-largest improvement in both field-goal and three-point percentage. From 2020-22, he served as the head coach at Parrish Community High School, leading the program to its first 20-win season and back-to-back district championship game appearances while earning District 16-4A Coach of the Year honors.
Kardok's collegiate coaching experience also includes stops at James Madison University and Bowling Green State University, where he held roles in coaching, basketball operations, and video. He began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at the University of Miami from 2013-15, where he worked under and was mentored by Naismith Coach of the Year Jim Larrañaga.
"I have known Coach Kardok for over twelve years. He is inquisitive, intelligent, and extremely positive. One of his best attributes is his ability to connect with players and staff members, as he has a gift of making people feel comfortable and valued. He is a hard worker and has great passion for the game of basketball," Larrañaga said of Kardok.
A former collegiate basketball player, Kardok played at the University of South Florida before beginning his coaching career. He earned his bachelor's degree in Finance from USF and later received a master's degree in Liberal Studies from the University of Miami.
Kardok is married to his wife, Lorianna, and the couple has two daughters, Ariah and Liv.
