Marcus Dewberry joined the Webber International University men's basketball coaching staff in September 2021.
Dewberry comes to Webber after spending time as a personal trainer and was the Avon Park High School Head Boys Basketball Coach in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, Dewberry played in the 2nd Division of the Icelandic Basketball League where he finished as the second-highest scorer at 34 points per game.
Dewberry played collegiate basketball at NCAA Division-II Saint Leo University (St. Leo, Florida) from 2013 to 2017. At Saint Leo, Dewberry was the 22nd player to eclipse 1,000 points and ranks 7th all-time in points scored. He also ranks 4th all-time in both assists and three-point field goals. Dewberry earned Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week honors six times in his career, including being named USBWA Division-II National Player of the Week in his junior year. He is a native of Lake Wales, Florida where he attended Lake Wales High School and was named to his high school's All-Conference team and helped the Highlanders to a semifinals appearance during his final high school season.
 Dewberry graduated from Saint Leo University with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Business in 2017.
