Coach Johnson Mesidor returns to Webber as Assistant Coach for his 3rd Season. Coach Johnson joined the Webber Coaching Staff in 2022 after serving as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Advance Prep Academy in Auburndale, FL.
In his 1st 2 Season with the Warriors, Mesidor helped cap off a 16-14 record and a historic 20-11 season in (2023-2024) that resulted in the programs first NAIA National Tournament bid alongside Head Coach and former Webber Teammate Gabriel Rutledge.
Prior to Joining the WIU staff, Mesidor spent 1 Season as Assistant Coach and Head of Strength and Conditioning at Advance Prep Academy; a Post Graduate School in the Central Florida area. He has had the privilege of aiding several former players in receiving Full Scholarships at the Junior College, NCAA D2, and NAIA level. Furthermore, Mesidor has spent the last 6 years in his early coaching experience at the AAU ranks as well as serving as a Certified Personal Trainer and Skills Development Trainer with a certification from International Sports Science Association.

A 2013 Graduate of Webber with a Bachelors in General Business, Mesidor played 3 seasons with the Warriors and was an integral part in the Team's success in his Senior season as they went (17-12), finishing Regular Season Runner Up, with a Sun Conference record of (11-7). This particular season produced several impressive victories of over Nationally ranked #2 Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, #3 Keiser University, #12 Warner University and NCAA D2 Clayton State University.
A Polk County Florida native, Mesidor is very active in the Community, providing free Sports Development Training to the youth as well as partnering with Local Churches and Mental Health Programs in efforts to mentor young athletes. He also serves as the Digital Information Technology Teacher at Discovery High School, in addition to being the Head Boys and Girls Track & Field Coach for the past 4 Seasons at DHS.
Coach Johnson is currently pursuing his Masters of Arts in Education at Webber International University.
