Damion Witty, the youngest of five children, was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, which is located a hour and a half away from Cleveland. Witty joined the Webber International University athletic staff as a Student Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach as of August 2018.

Witty helps the men’s basketball team in many different ways. He assists with the scouting of teams, recruiting of players, helping with player academic success, and doing anything else that is needed to help enhance the success of each of the varsity and junior varsity men’s basketball teams. He also serves as an Assistant Coach to both of Webber's junior varsity men's teams in addition to his role as a Student Assistant Coach with the varsity team.
Witty is a first generation graduate who attended Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, for his undergraduate degree in sport management and a minor in business. During his time at Kent State, Witty was an active student while interning with the Athletic Marketing department for all sports, focusing on football and basketball. He also participated as a I9 sports camp leader, where he taught the fundamentals of basketball to the youth of Northeast Ohio.
While working as a Student Assistant Coach with the Warriors, Damion will also be pursing his master’s degree in sport business management at Webber as well.
