Brian Skelly is currently a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Webber International University men’s basketball program.
As a Men's Basketball Head Development Team Coach at Webber, Skelly's JV team won the Sun Conference Junior Varsity Championship in 2017-18.
Previously, Skelly coached two seasons at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College for Head Coach David Niland, accumulating a 42-14 record during that span.
In his first season with Behrend, the Lions went on a 16-game win streak, finishing the season 21-6 with an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) semi-final appearance. Penn State Behrend had the best scoring defense in NCAA Division-III at 60.5 points allowed per game. Skelly also coached a Reese’s D-III All-Star and Conference Player of the Year, Zane Hackett, as well as Conference Freshmen of the Year Andy Niland. In his second season with Behrend, the Lions finished 21-8 and advanced to the ECAC finals with three all-conference players.
While at Behrend, Skelly also directed Penn State Behrend’s team camp, which hosted over 90 high school JV and varsity teams from three different states at five different event sites.
Lastly, Skelly has worked as the Director of Operations for Grandview Basketball Camp, where he coached future NCAA Division-I, Division-II, Division-III, JUCO and NAIA athletes in an overnight, intensive skill development camp.
