Coach Merson is in his fourth season at Webber International University as Tight Ends & Assistant Offensive Line coach.
Prior to joining the Webber staff, Coach Merson spent twelve years coaching at the high school level at Frostproof, Lake Region and FSU High Schools. During this time, Coach Merson served as a head coach, offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator as well as linebackers coach, offensive line coach, and quarterbacks coach.Â
Coach Merson is a graduate of Florida State University with an education degree. He was a member of the FSU football team, playing under legendary coach, Bobby Bowden, and was part of a team that won the ACC championship in 2003.

Coach Merson is married to Wendy Merson, where they reside in Lake Wales, Florida, with their three children, Natalie, Corbin, and Bradley.Â
