Colin Doran

Coach Colin Doran joined Webber International University in April of 2016 from West Virginia State University. Now in his third season with the Warriors, Coach Doran now coaches wide receivers after coaching running backs during his first season.

Coach Doran was the running backs coach of a WVSU team improved to five wins in 2015 after having two wins in the previous two seasons combined. The running backs set school records for rushing touchdowns by an individual and as a team. As a group, they rushed for 20 touchdowns after scoring one the previous season. Doran was also in charge of the punt return team that blocked three punts during the season.

Prior to that, Doran served as the wide receivers coach at Saint Joseph’s College, where they had an 8-3 record in 2014.  One of the receivers was selected to the all-conference second team.

He previously was the running backs coach and a graduate assistant for two years at Concord University. During that time, Concord finished second in the conference both seasons with records of 8-3 in 2013 and 7-4 in 2012. The starting tailback made second-team all-conference both seasons, and the fullback made the honorable mention list in 2014.

Doran played wide receiver at DePauw University, winning two conference championships and being a part of the senior class with the most wins in school history. As a senior, he recorded 29 receptions for 362 yards and two touchdowns.

He graduated from DePauw with a bachelor’s degree in 2011, majoring in communication. In 2014, he received his master’s degree in health promotion from Concord University.
