Luke McHardy was announced as the new head coach of the Webber International University fishing team in January 2021 after being an assistant coach in the prior year.
 
McHardy, who is from Jupiter, Florida, majored in sport business management at Webber International University, and graduated with his undergraduate degree in May of 2020. McHardy is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Webber for a Master's degree in International Business.
