Grady Morrell joins Webber International University after 22 years of coaching basketball and football at all levels. However, most recently he has spent the last 4 years as Head Girls Basketball Coach, defensive backs and wide receivers coach at Victory Christian Academy in Lakeland Florida. While at Victory he compiled a record of 60-28. VCA won 3 district titles in row and 1 runner up. Also, Victory has won 29 straight district games through 2011.
Previous to VCA Grady was Head Girls Varsity coach at Mulberry High School where he was 20-18 in two years and lead Mulberry to the State Playoffs in his second year for the first time in 10 years.
Grady played football at Ohio University from 1984-1986. He then transferred to play Basketball and Football at Div II Tiffin University Tiffin Ohio. After competing for 4 years Grady graduated from Franklin University Columbus, Ohio in Business Management.
Grady is married to Laura and they have five children 4 boys and 1 girl. Grady III (20), Mitchell (19), Nate (18), Miles (4) and Emily (16). Grady’s 3 Boys all play sports at Webber.
