Jekyll Island, GA – The Webber International Men's Golf team took home the individual and team title at the Coastal Georgia Winter Invite, as Tristan Greenleaf repeated the individual championship, while top 10 finishes from Vedant Sirohi and Chris Richards Jr. helped the Warriors to the team championship.

Greenleaf came out of the gates firing in round one, shooting a 68 to share a tie of the lead after one. He cemented his status after round two with a 70. Headed into Tuesday with the lead, Greenleaf again shot 70 to take home his second consecutive Coastal Winter Invite title, and the Warriors third straight.

Sirohi opened up his first round shooting a 75, which put him in a tie for 28th.  He responded in round two with a 68 of his own, pushing into a tie for 4th. He finished his tournament with a 74, cementing a 4th place finish.

Richards Jr. put up a 73 in round one, where he sat tied for 11th. In round two, he improved, with a 70 on the scorecard, tying Sirohi in 4th. He scaled back in round three with a 77, but that kept him in the top 10, finishing tied for 7th.

Kyle Miller was the 4th finisher for the Warriors. He opened round one with a 75 on the scorecard. In round two, he netted another 75, putting him in a tie for 39th. Miller shot an 81 in the 3rd round to end the tournament tied for 46th.

Callum Woolston was the final challenger for the Warriors. On day one he put together an 84 and a 77, putting him in 69th. He improved on the final round with a 76, putting him tied for 60th.

The Warriors held a 10 stroke on the second place team Ottawa University (Ariz.), while taking down multiple SUN Conference teams as well.

After the conclusion of round 3,  Head Coach Stuart Winsby was very impressed with his entire team.

"The Warriors pulled out a massive wire to wire victory over a field of highly ranked teams in Jekyll Island this week. We had 3 Warriors inside the top 10 with Chris finishing top 7 and Vedant in 4th place.
Tristan completed his own wire to wire win successfully defending his title from last year. What a performance from our man! Again under huge pressure, he performed at the top level hitting world class shots to close out the win. That's back-to-back-to-back medalists from the Warriors. Couldn't be more proud of every single one of them. What a performance this week! They have worked very hard to be here! The hard work doesn't stop now. Big shoutout to our man Jarrett for helping this week! Let's go man!"
