Miami Gardens, FL – The Webber International Men's Basketball team dropped an 83-52 decision at Florida Memorial on Wednesday night in a Sun Conference contest at the FMU Wellness Center.

The Lions set the tone early, erupting for 48 first-half points to take a 48-26 lead into the break. Florida Memorial stayed in control the rest of the way behind efficient shooting (31-of-58, 53.4%) and a barrage from deep (12-of-30), stretching the margin as large as 32 late in the second half. Webber finished 17-of-51 (33.3%) from the floor and 6-of-24 (25.0%) from three, while FMU's ball movement (24 assists) helped fuel a 35-point second half.

Florida Memorial consistently won the "easy points" categories, scoring 34 points in the paint and adding 12 fast-break points, while also turning 17 Webber turnovers into 19 points. The Warriors battled to create extra chances (16 second-chance points on 14 offensive rebounds) and stayed close on the glass overall (FMU 31 rebounds, Webber 30), but the Lions' shooting efficiency and clean night at the line (9-of-9) kept momentum on the home side.

Deon Brown led the Warriors with 17 points, knocking down four 3-pointers, while Landon Tillman added 10 points and two steals. Johnny Torrence Jr. chipped in seven, and Thomas Morgan pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds with a block as Webber worked to string together stops against an FMU attack that received balanced scoring support behind Morgan Brewer's 23 points and Cameron Noel's 17.
