Babson Park, FL – The Webber International Women's Basketball team fell to Southeastern, 89-43, on Saturday afternoon in SUN Conference action. The Fire took control early and never let up, winning each quarter while holding the Warriors to seven points in the opening period to build a 21-7 advantage after one.

Southeastern continued to stretch the margin in the second, outscoring Webber 25-13 to take a 46-20 lead into halftime, then kept the pressure on with a 23-14 third quarter to push the cushion to 69-34 heading to the fourth. The Fire closed the game with a 20-9 final period to secure the conference win, improving to 14-2 overall and 4-0 in Sun Conference play, while Webber moved to 6-7 overall and 1-2 in league action.

Sophya Barreiro led the Warriors with 15 points, while Jaiden Ross added nine points and swatted a team-high three shots. Camryn Patterson anchored the glass with a team-best seven rebounds and chipped in three steals. As a team, Webber forced 21 Southeastern turnovers and finished with 10 steals and four blocks, but struggled to find rhythm offensively, shooting 29.8% from the field (17-of-57), 16.7% from three (3-of-18), and 46.2% at the line (6-of-13).

Southeastern's attack was balanced and efficient, shooting 60.7% overall (34-of-56) and 56.0% from three (14-of-25) while piling up 23 assists. Mya Herman and Grace Field shared team-high scoring honors with 13 points apiece, with Field also posting a dominant 13-rebound performance and five assists. Alley Haas and Sarah Davis each scored 12 points, combining for six made threes, as the Fire controlled the boards (39-20) and pulled away with consistent scoring in every quarter.
