Tampa, FL – The SUN Conference released it's Players of the Week for the week of August 25th-31st Monday afternoon. Honored on the list were Webber Football's Anthony Fuller and Webber Men's Soccer's Alvaro Garcia.
Fuller was a key piece in the Warriors upset over NCAA Division 1 FCS Stetson on Saturday night, totaling six tackles, one forced fumble and to cap it off, an interception returned for a touchdown in the 31-21 win.
Garcia played all 180 minutes in goal for the Warriors this week, picking up two wins, one over Crooked Lake Rivals Warner University, and the other over former SUN foe Thomas University. He totaled six saves for the week and only allowed one goal over both games.
