Marietta, GA. — Webber International ended the Life University Tournament with a sweep of Truett McConnell, 25–23, 25–19, 25–17, on Saturday morning at the Eagles Nest. The Warriors hit .236 as a team and smothered the Bears at the net with 9.0 total blocks, holding TMU to .070 hitting in the neutral-site win.

The opener swung late behind veteran poise. Trailing 22–23 in Set 1, Kalyn Morgan delivered a clutch service ace to level the frame, Katie White hammered a kill off a feed from Abigail Leonard, and an ensuing TMU attack error sealed it, 25–23. Webber never looked back, using balanced offense and clean first contacts to control the final two sets.

Set 2 belonged to the block. Kaylynn Stokes and Hailey Mull teamed up for multiple stuffs during a mid-set surge, and consecutive TMU errors pushed the lead out before Mull capped the frame with a kill from Samantha Gomez for 25–19. Webber closed the door in Set 3 by hitting a blistering .345 (10 kills, 0 errors) and adding four more team blocks; the Warriors reached match point on a TMU miscue and finished it on a service error, 25–17.
