Lakeland, FL — Webber International dug deep to take a neutral-site thriller over Point, 3–2 (25–22, 21–25, 25–18, 11–25, 15–6) at The Furnace, bouncing back from a lopsided fourth set to dominate the race to 15. The victory levels Webber at 1–1 on the season while Point moves to 1–3. Today's victory also marks the first for 1st year Head Coach Audrye Alejandro-Rivera.
After securing a tight first set behind late plays from Kaylee Hunt and Vivianne Cancio, Webber ceded Set 2 to Point's hot hand, Tianna Kynard. The Warriors answered in Set 3 with a balanced push—Kalyn Morgan's three late kills opened daylight before Raeann Savage finished it. Point stormed through Set 4 on a big serving run, but Webber slammed the door in Set 5, hitting .381 with 0 errors while forcing six Skyhawk errors to sprint away, 15–6.
