Men's Volleyball Sweeps Warner on the Road

Lake Wales, FL - The Webber International Men's Volleyball team played Crooked Lake Rivals Warner University on Tuesday evening in AAC play. The Warriors fought valiantly and took down the Royals in straight sets, winning in a 3-0 sweep.

Set 1: Webber International (FL) 25, Warner (FL) 19

The match started with Warner (FL) taking an early lead behind strong plays However, Webber International responded with a dominant mid-set run, fueled by service aces from Joshua Corr and key kills from Kevin Reiz and Trent Massey. Errors from Warner, including attack mistakes by Michael Barnes and service errors, allowed Webber to maintain their advantage. A final kill from Kevin Reiz, assisted by Ayden Keeter, sealed the first set for Webber, 25-19.


Set 2: Webber International (FL) 25, Warner (FL) 17

Webber continued their momentum in the second set, taking an early lead with strong blocking from Joshua Corr and Logan Greer. Warner struggled with multiple attack errors, particularly from Michael Barnes, allowing Webber to build a comfortable lead. Carson Barnes and Ayden Keeter provided crucial kills to keep Webber in control, while Warner's attempts to close the gap were met with solid defensive plays. A service error by Darion Graham ended the set, giving Webber a 2-0 match advantage.


Set 3: Webber International (FL) 25, Warner (FL) 23

The third and final set was the most competitive, with both teams trading points throughout. Warner's Ryan Bernaldo and Darion Graham delivered key kills, keeping the match close. Webber International countered with strong performances from Kevin McCarthy and Ayden Keeter, both delivering clutch kills. The set remained tied at 22-22, but a kill by Kevin McCarthy and a service error by Warner allowed Webber to take a 24-23 lead. In the final play, Kevin Reiz secured the match-winning kill, completing Webber's 3-0 sweep.
