Babson Park, FL – The Webber International Women's Volleyball team dropped a straight-sets SUN Conference match to Keiser on Saturday night in Babson Park, falling 23–25, 18–25, 18–25. The Warriors hit .154 as a team and out-blocked the Seahawks 6.0–2.0, but Keiser's balanced attack (47 kills, .221) and serve-receive steadiness proved the difference.
Set one was a tug-of-war with 13 ties. Trailing 11–12, Webber ripped off a 5–0 run behind Kaylee Hunt and a Kalyn Morgan service ace to surge ahead 16–11. Keiser clawed back to 19–19, and after trading points to 23–23, the Seahawks closed the frame 25–23 on a late Warrior error.
Keiser carried that momentum into the second, using a mid-set push featuring kills from Makenzi Bennett and Isabella Steffel and an Abby Lester ace to stretch the lead to 17–11. Webber answered with side-outs and an Alejandra Aponte ace to trim it to 20–17, but the Seahawks finished 25–18.
The third was again competitive early. Raeann Savage's presence at the net and steady setting from Alanys Rodriguez helped Webber stay within striking distance at 16–12 and later 20–17. Keiser, however, sealed the sweep at 25–18, punctuated by back-to-back Bennett aces.
