LAKE WORTH, Fla. (April 26, 2023) – The Webber International University men's and women's golf teams competed at the Sun Conference Championship in a three-day tournament from Sunday to Tuesday. The men's team placed fifth out of seven total teams while the women had three players compete as individuals.

On the men's side, the Warriors (300-289-299; 888) finished in fifth place ahead of SCAD-Savannah and Ave Maria University. They were just eight strokes behind Southeastern University in third place.

Freshman
Vedant Sirohi (72-71-73; 216) lead the way for Webber, shooting his best in the second round for an even par to finish tied for sixth place out of 34 competitors.
Harrison Hodgson (77-70-76; 223) had the best round of any Warrior with a one-under-par in round two, ending the tournament tied for 17th.

Daniel McGarey (75-78-73; 226) finished third on the team in scoring and tied for 21st overall followed by
Clay Jacobs (76-74-78; 228), ending in sole possession of 24th. Just one stroke behind Jacobs was
Carl Rosenholm (78-74-77; 229) in a tie for 25th place.

The women's team had three players compete individually for the tournament.
Katy Hill (84-95-88) led the Warriors with a team-low 84 in round one. She finished in 29
th place followed by
Mary Varga (105-106-104; 315) in 31st place and
Bianca Perdue (109-112-102; 323) in 32nd.
