Temple, Terrace, FL – A massive first-half effort comes up just short as the RV Warriors fall to RV Florida College 86-76, on Monday night. Webber shot 60% in the first 20 minutes, but fall to 7-2 on the season.  

Tyrone Nesby led the Warriors with 20 points, 13 of which came in the first half. The Las Vegas, NV native also grabbed two rebounds and a steal. Eden Holt netted 14 points, three steals, and seven assists. K'Shun Stokes and Zachary O'Callagan grabbed 10 points apiece. 

Nesby started the Warriors' night off with a jumper from the field. A great defensive possession forces a turnover, leading to a leading to a Stokes jumper to give Webber the 5-0 lead. Florida College responded with a bucket before Holt three made it 8-2. The Falcons took the lead with a two-point jumper. The two teams traded leads, before a FC layup made it 44-40 at the hald.   

The Falcons opened the second half with a 9-2 run, before a Holt three pointer changed the momentum to the Warriors. Nesby and Stokes grabbed the next five points for the Warriors, as FC led by eight with 12 minutes to go. A jumper by O'Callagan cut the Falcon lead to eight halfway through the period. Free throws made by O'Callagan, Nesby, and Cooper Peterson kept the Warriors in the game with just four minutes to go. The Warriors went on a 13-2 run in the final three minutes but were unable to take the lead.  

Webber will be back home on Saturday, December 9th to take on New College of Florida. Come out and support your Warriors as they battle the Mighty Banyans at 4:00 PM.
