"What an awesome day for Webber softball," said Head Coach
Kristy Burton. "We finally put it all together as a team. Kayla was so close to a perfect game in game one and closed out with a no hitter. All day we dominated offensively and controlled the tempo through both games. This was a changing point for our program and we are excited to see the team hold on to this momentum going into the bulk of our season. Go Warriors."
The Warriors will now have a bit of a break before traveling to Gulf Shores, Alabama for the Gulf Coast Invitational where they will first face Williams Baptist College on Friday, March 4, at 9 a.m. central-standard time. That game will be followed by another against Bethel University at 11:15 a.m. central-standard time.
