BABSON PARK, Fla. (November 13, 2021) – The Webber International University women's basketball team hosted the Warner University Royals on Saturday afternoon in what was its second Sun Conference game of this season. A big second half from the Warriors fueled them to a 78-60 victory over their Crooked Lake rivals.

Despite having a lower field goal percentage in the game, the Warriors (5-0 overall, 2-0 SUN) forced the Royals (1-2, 0-1) into 20 turnovers while only turning the ball over only five times themselves. Webber also outscored Warner 20-2 in points off turnovers.

The Warriors held a four-point lead at the halftime break, 37-33. Webber began to pull away over the course of the third and fourth quarters, fueled by Rushell Jacob who scored 14 second-half points. Warner only held the lead once in the second quarter as the Warriors outscored the Royals in each of the four quarters.

Webber was led by Deja King with 18 points followed by Eletra Graham with 17 and Jacob with 16. Jacob also earned her first double-double of the season while adding a team-high 10 rebounds. She was followed by King who added eight rebounds.
