WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (October 24, 2021) – The Webber International University football team traveled to West Palm Beach, Florida to battle the No. 13 Keiser Seahawks for its third game this season against a nationally-ranked opponent. The Warriors would strike first but ultimately fall in the end, 28-7.

The Warriors (0-7 overall, 0-4 SUN) drew first blood in the game after a 32-yard pass from sophomore-quarterback
Cody Braden found
Jacob Moss for his fourth receiving touchdown of the season, earning Webber a 7-0 lead.

Keiser (5-2, 2-1) would score twice in the second quarter, both rushing touchdowns from Marques Burgess, to take the lead 14-7 going into halftime. The Seahawks would score twice more in the fourth quarter after two touchdown passes from Johnathan Mosely to seal the game at 28-7.

Despite the Warriors only finding the endzone once in the game, they ended with more total yards of offense than Keiser, 324-321. Braden finished with 168 yards passing and one touchdown pass while
Tremon Bright rushed for a total of 94 yards on 24 attempts. Moss led the team in receiving with 77 yards and a touchdown followed by
Frederick Curry Jr. with 43.

Trent Peacock led the Warrior defense in total tackles with eight while adding a pass breakup. He was followed by
Rocky O'Rourke with seven and
Devonte Harris and
Joseph Burton each with six.
Christopher L. Williams II finished with five total tackles and two pass breakups as well.

The Warriors return home for their next game when they will face a nationally-ranked opponent yet again, this time in the form of No. 14 Faulkner University. It will be Webber's fourth non-conference game and fourth game against a ranked opponent. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. on the Warrior Turf Field on Saturday, October 30.
