BABSON PARK, Fla. (February 7, 2020) – For the second time this season, the Webber International University men's basketball team will host The Sun Conference's Men's Basketball Game of the Week. After an 83-76 victory for the Warriors over the Fire in the first meeting between the two teams this season in Lakeland, Florida, Webber and No. 21 Southeastern University will do battle for a second time starting at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, inside the Sabbagh Athletic Center in Babson Park, Florida.

Allen Corbin. "Southeastern is a tremendous team and it should be a very exciting game. It will be a very big game for us and I would love to have a great crowd for home court advantage."
Webber will enter the matchup with an overall record of 13-12 and a record of 6-8 in The Sun Conference while Southeastern, looking to avenge its defeat against the Warriors on its home court in the previous meeting between the two teams, will come into Babson Park with a record of 18-7 overall and 11-3 in the TSC.
With only two weeks remaining in the regular season, the Warriors are currently alone in fifth place in The Sun Conference Men's Basketball Standings while Southeastern is tied for second place with Ave Maria University, which just defeated Webber 74-55 on Thursday, February 6. Southeastern, meanwhile, is coming off of a narrow 72-71 victory at home over Warner University on Thursday.
The Warriors will enter the contest ranked third in The Sun Conference in scoring offense per game at 84.88 points per game while Southeastern is second in the conference in scoring defense per game (74.12 points per game) and is first in field goal percentage defense (.400 percent). The two teams are also two of the three best rebounding teams in the conference as the Fire rank second in the league at 44.12 rebounds per contest while the Warriors are third at 43.75 boards per game.
