Head Coach
Kristy Burton said, "It was not our best day, but it was exciting to see our bats come alive in the first game. As a team, we were unstoppable at the plate. We struggle to stay locked in and play consistent softball. We are hopeful this is and will be a learning point for our program and look forward to the rest of the week."
Webber moved to 5-5 overall on the season while Point Park competed in its third doubleheader against a Sun Conference team in three days and also picked up its first win of the season at 1-5.
Webber will now travel to Jacksonville, Florida, for a doubleheader against Trinity Baptist College starting at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27.
