BABSON PARK, Fla. (August 25, 2018) – The Webber International University men's soccer team's 2018 season opener was cancelled in the 62nd minute due to multiple lighting delays and heavy rain.

The match did not meet the 70-minute requirement to become official, and it will not be made up as Faulkner returns home to Montgomery, Alabama, after falling to Warner University two days earlier.

Webber's new season opener will now be on Thursday, August 30, at home against Pensacola Christian College at 4 p.m.

The Warriors will also host Georgia Southwestern State University at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 1, before playing away from Warrior Field for the first time on Monday, September 3.
