Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Webber International University men's basketball ended their season today with a trip to Miami Gardens.
The first half looked promising for the Warriors as they only trailed FMU 42-44. The second half was a different story with FMU outscoring Webber 35-50. FMU took the victory 77-94.
The Warriors had 4 players reach double digits today.
Daniel Coffey,
Joelle Bigham and
Joseph Serrano all had 15 points apiece.
Jovany Deceus finished out with 11 points.
It was a tough year for the Warriors as they competed in the powerful Sun Conference. The Sun Conference finishes the year with Warner University ranked #5 in the nation with a 21-3 record overall. Three more teams are receiving votes for the NAIA coaches top 25 out of the TSC, Florida Memorial, St. Thomas and Keiser. All 4 teams have a combined 100-27 overall record.
The Warriors now enter the off-season and await the start of the 2017-18 season.
