OUTLOOK: It's all about changing the culture of the program for new Webber head coach Allen Corbin. The first-year coach has brought in 11 new faces — many with college experience — and hopes that will help alleviate the early growing pains. Seniors Sheldon Durant and Johnathan Childs have taken to leadership roles and should be big contributors. Childs, a 6-foot-10 center, will be joined by a pair of big transfers in 6-foot-8 Andre Brooks and 6-foot-10 Obi Romeo. Transfer guards Osandai Vaughn and Nikita Orap have NCAA D-II experience and should be leaned on heavily. Coming off an eight-win season, Webber should be better in 2017.
