Box Score THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Webber International University men's soccer team traveled to take on Thomas University in Thomasville, Ga. Thomas University carries a No. 6 ranking in the nation for men's soccer. Unfortunately for the Warriors, the Night Hawks took the game 0-1.

The Warriors started Randy Chesson in goal, which is no surprise since he had been the Sun Conference defender of the week for two weeks straight up until this week. The Night Hawks placed 6 out of 17 shots on goal, and Randy Chesson got to 5 of them. The Warriors shot 12 times and had 5 shots on goal.

Early in the game, the Night Hawks registered their only goal of the night off the foot of Juan Figueroa. It was an extremely well fought battle for the Warriors, especially taking on the No. 6 team in the nation.

This moves Webber to 2-5-1 overall and 0-2 in Sun Conference play. They now shift their focus to SCAD University located in Savannah, Ga. They will play in Savannah on Saturday October 1st at 7:00 p.m.
