Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. - The Webber International University Lady Warriors entered today's much anticipated match against Keiser University with a 5 game winning streak. The Warriors not only came out swinging, but delivered the knocked punch with a 3 match sweep against the Sun Conference foe.
This matchup between Webber and Keiser featured the Warriors at 11-1 and the Seahawks at 11-2. Keiser was 2-1 in TSC play and Webber 3-0 before today.
The first two sets were well fought battles that found the Warriors on the winning side of both, 25-17 then 25-19. The third set saw Webber pummel the Seahawks 25-12.
Nikki McDaniel was the offensive workhorse for the Warriors as she finished the day with 14 kills and keeps her 1st place lead in the Sun Conference with 159 kills and an average of 4.0 kills/set.
Carlee Baxter also continued her dominance as she put up 31 assists.
Michelle Calderon had 28 digs on the day and now takes 1st place in the Sun Conference with 32 serving aces on the year.
The Warriors, who are in 1st place in the Sun Conference, now move to 4-0 in TSC and and 12-1 overall. They now shift their focus to the rivalry matchup from across Crooked Lake in the Warner Royals. That game will be located at Warner University in Lake Wales, Fla. and played on September 28th at 7:00 p.m. Go Warriors!!!                                                                                                                                                   Â
