Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University lady Warriors volleyball team opened up at home yesterday against the visiting Florida College Falcons. The crowd was jumping, student section full of life with the "WEBBER" cheer and the lady Warriors answered by sweeping the Falcons in 3 sets that moves them to 5-0 on the season.
The lady Warriors were led by
Nikki McDaniel, who had 17 kills with a .275 hitting percentage and 7 digs on the night.
Michelle Calderon led the defensive side of the matchup with 23 digs on the evening.
Katie Schueman was a wall at the net and had a solo block and 3 block assists.
The Warriors took their home opener by set scores of; 26-24, 25-19, 25-16 finishing at 3-0. Even though it seemed like it was a bit of an off night for the lady Warriors, they still managed to come away with a sweep. This extends Webber's streak to 5-0 on the year. They next head to Life University in Marietta, GA., where they will compete in the Life University tournament. Go Warriors!!!
