Box Score Saturday, in a late-season Sun Conference matchup. The Warriors kept it close throughout before the Bobcats pulled away late, winning out 76-62.
Dewaine Lyals' renaissance season continued against the Bobcats. Lyals netted a career-high 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. With his 30 points and one assist, Lylas accounted for 50% of Webber International's total offensive output. Derian Fraga came off the bench hot, scoring 13 points in just 18 minute of action.
After 10 minutes of neck-and-neck play, the Warriors were down just two, 19-17. Lyals scored nine points early on for Webber International, while Fraga scored six straight points soon after coming in to the game.
Webber International trailed the Bobcats, 33-32, with a minute left before halftime. The Warriors would go on to close the half with a 6-0 run, jumping ahead, 37-33.
The Warriors and St. Thomas traded the lead early on in the second half. The Bobcats took control of the game after eight minutes of action, leading for the rest of the game.
Webber International's offense struggled to keep up with St. Thomas eventually falling to the Bobcats, 76-62.
