Box Score DAYTON, Tenn. – The Webber International University men's basketball traveled to Tennessee yesterday to take on the Bryan College Lions. This was their season opener and the Warriors started 1-0 winning 88-86.

The Warriors came out fired up and ready to play as they led at the end of the first half by a score of 42-33. The second half they were able to put up 46 but allowed 53 to the Lions. This cut the 9 pt. lead from half and made it a final score of 88-86 in favor of the Warriors.

Daniel Coffey led the way for the Warriors offense as he put up 21 pts. He was 100% from the free-throw line, 6-6, and 50% from the 3 pt. line, 1-2, adding a block as well. Albert Coderch-Porras put up 19 pts. for the Warriors going 2-3 from the 3 pt. line and adding a steal.

The Warriors will now travel to play Reinhardt University today at 6:30 p.m. in Waleska, Ga. Go Warriors!!!
