Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors took on the Florida National University Conquistadors in a non-conference matchup yesterday. The Warriors defeated FNU 3-1. 

The Warriors were able to carry a chip on their shoulder going into last night's matchup. Not only were they bringing in a 13 game winning streak, but it had just been announced that they had cracked Top 25 in the Nation with a 24th ranking. 

The first set took off fast as the Warriors won 25-12. They followed with a 25-10 win in the second set. The third set it seemed as they hit a rough patch as they dropped the match 15-25. That rough patch didn't last long as the fourth match found the Warriors on top 25-13. 

Nikki McDaniel led the offensive attack with 12 kills and 3 serving aces, followed by Brianna Baez with 9 kills and Tessa Colden with 6. Defensively Michelle Calderon put up 20 digs followed by Tessa Colden with 15 and Gilmary Ramos with 13. Carlee Baxter put up 30 assists on the night. 

The Lady Warriors extended their winning streak to 14 straight last night. They face a tough opponent today at 3:00 p.m. in the University of Saint Francis (Ill.). The Fighting Saints bring in an 18-10 record with a 10-2 CCAC record. USF has lost their last two matches, however, they have both been against nationally ranked opponents and they played extremely close with both teams. They took on Georgetown College ranked 8th in the country and played four sets losing 20-25, 25-23, 19-25, 21-25. Next they took on Madonna University ranked 18th in the country and lost 17-25, 22-25, 23-25. The Warriors will be their third straight nationally ranked opponent in what is shaping up to be a huge match.
