BABSON PARK, Fla. – No. 24 Webber International University football kicks off the 2015 season on the road, Saturday, August 29 at 7 p.m. against Arizona Christian.

Ground Staked
Last season saw the Warriors finish with an 8-3 overall record. After dropping the first three games of the season, Webber International fought back to take the next eight games, reaching a school-best No. 23 national ranking and claiming the first-ever Sun Conference Championship.

Back and Better Than Ever
Webber International sees a multitude of players return from last season championship roster.

Quarterback Billy Pavlock, preseason All-America offensive lineman Macander Dieudonne and Sun Conference Honorable Mention running back Darius Page will lead a Warrior offense that racked up 3,414 total yards and 30 total touchdowns in 2014.

The Webber International defense finished the 2014 season ranked 3rd in the nation in scoring defense and 22nd in overall defense. Sun Conference Honorable Mention defensive lineman Marquise Harts and senior defensive back Daniel Sizemore return to the Warriors top-rated defense for the 2015 season.

Addition By Addition
The Warriors lost key players on both sides of the ball, but can look to its new recruits to help fill the void.

The Warriors stellar defense bolstered its secondary with the addition of Miles College transfer Tajghi Robertson. The offense will look to stretch the field with a fresh crop of receivers, including Georgia product Keenan Davis and Florida natives Maurice Thomas and Jeremiah Harris.

About Arizona Christian
The Firestorm finished the 2014 season with a 2-7 record. Arizona Christian came out on top in two barn burners, winning both games by a combined score of 68-40.

The Warriors and the Firestorm faced off last season, with Webber International coming out on top, 49-26. Brendan Deshields was the engine behind Webber International's offensive outburst, running for 109 yards and two touchdowns.
