THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Webber International University Warriors basketball team traveled to Thomasville, Georgia, to take on conference opponent Thomas University Night Hawks. The Night Hawks controlled the game taking a ten point lead into the break and maintained that lead in the second winning 78-67 over the Warriors.
Leading the Warriors on the court were:
Brian Pace with another double-double scoring 19 points with 13 rebounds and four assists;
Raymond Durant scored 14 points with four rebounds; and
Dewaine Lyals also collected a double-double with 14 points while getting 11 rebounds.
The Warriors record falls to 10-15 overall and they are 7-6 in The Sun Conference.
Webber's men's basketball team will return to action on Tuesday, February 10
th as they host Crooked Lake rivals Warner University Royals starting at 7:00 p.m.
