DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Webber International University Warriors men's basketball team traveled to Daytona Beach to take on Embry-Riddle University Eagles in The Sun Conference Men's Basketball Championships quarterfinal round. The Warriors lost the game to the #1 seeded Eagles 96-81 ending their 2014-15 season.
The Warriors went into the half leading the Eagles 45-42. In the second half the Eagles came out fired up and outscored the Warriors 54-36 in the second half to win the game 96-81.
Leading the Warriors on the court were;
Brian Pace with 26 points, five assists, four steals, and four rebounds;
Raymond Durant with 16 points, three assists, and three steals;
Daniel Coffey with 13 points and four rebounds;
Dewaine Lyals with 10 points and five rebounds; and
Nathaniel Morrell with nine assists, seven points, seven rebounds, two steals, and a block.
The Warriors season ends with a 13-19 overall record.
