Volleyball Closes 2015 with Two-Match Home Stand

BABSON PARK, Fla. – Webber International University Volleyball is set to host two conference opponents this weekend to end the 2015 season. The Warriors first welcome St. Thomas, Friday, November 6 at 7 p.m. and then finish the season against Florida Memorial, Saturday, November 7 at 11 a.m.

Last Time Out
Webber International dropped two matches last week on the road.

The Warriors first took on Southeastern. Webber International took the first set but dropped the next three, losing out, 3-1. Bethany Forsyth and Kaley Cox both passed the 10-kill mark in the match.

Webber International then faced off against archrival Warner. The Warriors battled hard but would fall to the Royals, 3-0. Sophie Rossard had a strong match, collecting a team-high 14 kills to go along with 11 assists.

About St. Thomas
The Bobcats are 22-8 overall with a 9-1 conference record. St. Thomas comes to Babson Park with riding a two-match conference win streak.

The Bobcats boast a dangerous attack. St. Thomas was racked up 1,360 kills this season, three players that have topped the 100-kill mark and three players that have surpassed the 200-kill mark.

About Florida Memorial
The Lions own a 6-18 overall record and are 1-9 against Sun Conference opposition. Florida Memorial are 2-5 in their last seven matches, with wins over Johnson University and Ave Maria.

The Lions are led by Arasy Guerra who owns a team-best 124 kills.
