BABSON PARK, Fla. – Webber International University men' soccer faces a busy week, playing three matches in the space of seven days. The Warriors open the week, Monday, October 19 against Florida College. Webber International returns home for two home matches, Wednesday, October 21 against Ave Maria and, Saturday, October 24 against Southeastern.
Last Time Out
The Warriors suffered two tough road loses last week. Webber International took on a strong St. Thomas team, falling to the Bobcats, 2-1. Later that week, the Warriors took on (RV) Florida Memorial. Webber International eventually fell to the Lions, 3-1.
About Florida College
Florida College holds an 11-5 overall record. The Falcons are currently a nine-match win streak, last losing September 15.
The Warriors and Florida College faced off earlier this season, when the Flacons visited Babson Park September 12. The Warriors defeated the Falcons, 4-0, behind goals from Sam Todd, Sean Whalen and two from Ivan Bakovic.
About Ave Maria
The Gyrenes are 1-10 in 2015 and hold a 0-6 record in the Sun Conference. After an early-season victory over Trinity College, Ave Maria has dropped eight-consecutive matches.
The Gyrenes are led by freshman Fabrizio Bucco, who has netted seven goals and registered an assist.
About Southeastern
The Fire own a 9-4 overall record and are 5-1 against Sun Conference opponents. Southeastern have rattled off four-consecutive wins on the road, all against Sun Conference teams.
The Fire offense has been balanced in 2015, with 16 different players finding the back of the net.
