AVE MARIA, Fla. – The Webber International University Lady Warriors basketball team traveled to take on Ave Maria Lady Gyrenes. The Lady Warriors were unable to come back in the second half resulting in a 81-65 loss.
 
Leading the Lady Warriors on the court were: Jessica Colson with 13 points, two rebounds and one assist; LaQuandra Brazill with 11 points, six rebounds, and two assists; Deslyn Applewhaite with 11 points and three rebounds; and Jurnee Pettigrew with ten points and five rebounds.
 
The Lady Warriors record moves to 15-4 overall and 8-3 in The Sun Conference.
 
The Webber's women's basketball team returns to action on Thursday, February 5^th as they travel to Florida Memorial University starting at 5:00 p.m.
